January 15, 2017 Update

If you own the MOM-001, MOM-002, and MOM-003, you will have room to store the new Beyond the Threshold expansion.  The only item of note is that there is not room in the investigator trays for the two new investigators.  We will work to ensure their is more investigator storage in the next solution we design for MOM.  Also, if you sleeve card space is getting tight.

Our new storage solution for Mansions of Madness is available and includes solutions to handle the two expansions released as of October 2016.  Mansions 2nd edition is a great reboot of a classic FFG game and FFG has really hit that sweet spot with app integration and support.  I think Mansions is exactly the kind of game that screams for app support and I suspect that Mansions 2nd edition is going to be huge for FFG.

Our solution for Mansions includes ten (10) removable storage trays.  One of the more challenging aspects of designing for Mansions was dealing with the storage requirements for the monster minis.  They are big once you account for the bases. Fortunately, we have implemented a rail solution that safely stored all minis (painted or not).  It also looks cool on the table.  I would caution that painting your bases may render rails useless in some cases.  However, the best part of this design is that you can forego the rails and just drop your minis in the bins if you prefer.  Your choice!

Our Mansions of Madness storage solution includes etched token names in the trays to indicate the location for each component so you will never wonder where something should be stored.

This storage solution provides:

  • one (1) removable large railed monster mini storage tray with space for two (2) large monster minis with attached bases
  • one (1) removable medium railed monster mini storage tray with space for six (6) medium monster minis with attached bases
  • one (1) removable small railed monster mini storage tray with space for twenty (20) small monster minis with attached bases
  • one (1) railed investigator mini storage tray with space for twelve (12) investigators
  • one (1) removable top tray that provides storage for rulebooks
  • one (1) removable tile tray for map tile storage
  • one (1) removable shallow token storage tray
  • one (1) removable deep token storage tray
  • one (1) removable tray with storage for investigator cards/ID tokens
  • one (1) removable small card storage tray for sleeved/unsleeved cards

As you can see from the information above, there is some spare room for medium and small minis (2 each).  It is our intention to design a storage solution for future expansion boxes.  This will (hopefully) allow your collection to be stored in less boxes and with more efficiency over time as more and more expansions are released.

Expansions

We have also designed two storage solutions to store the tiles and minis from the two 2ed expansions – Suppressed Memories and Recurring Nightmares.  These solutions can be used externally or slipped into the FFG boxes.

Can you provide diagrams for the mansions of madness organizers? I have found it difficult to put back in the boxes. Thanks
