When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.  In most cases this picture is a random Gravatar, but if you have customized your Gravatar, that image will be shown publicly.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.  You give Go7 Gaming, Inc. express permission to display, share, and re-use and media you upload to our website.  If you disagree, don’t share media on our site!

Contact Forms

Our contact form captures email addresses and any other information you input.  This data is used for the express purpose of responding to customer inquiries and is not shared for any other purpose.

Newsletter

We maintain a newsletter.  Our newsletter is a positive opt-in newsletter.  If you choose to opt-in, our newsletter processor, MailChimp, will collect information such as IP address, email address, and other forensic data such as a time of opt-in and newsletter read response rate.  Your subscription is optional and you may unsubscribe at anytime.  We will send newsletters from time to time to announce company news including new product offerings.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. We use Google Analytics and analytics software on our servers.  Google Analytics privacy policy is located here.  Our privacy policy applies to analytics plugins we operate locally on our servers. Analytics data collected is used to benchmark system performance as well as to record pages viewed and associated analytics.

Who Do We Share Your Data With?

Your personal data is transmitted to our shipping software provider, Shipstation.  Their privacy policy is here.  This information is passed expressly to fulfill your order.  If you make a purchase on our site, your personal data will be captured as part of the payment process for the purposes of charging your credit card.  Your payment information (credit card information) is not stored on our site.  It is securely passed to Stripe, our PCI-compliant payment processor.  You can read their privacy policy here. Visitor comments are checked through an automated spam detection service and information transmitted includes IP address, system info, and information submitted on forms on this site.   This service, CleanTalk, provides their privacy policy here.  if you choose to signup for our email newsletter, your email address and specific forensic information regarding your subscription including IP address, timezone, general location in the world, and newsletter analytics will be captured and maintained for the purpose of maintain your subscription.  Our newsletter processor, MailChimp, maintains their privacy policy here.

How Long Do We Retain Your Data?

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What Rights Do You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.
