This insert, designed for the Zombicide: Black Plague & Green Horde base game boxes, stores everything from the base game. This kit will store either the ZBP base game or the ZGH base game, but not both. The insert provides eight (8) removable trays.
Note: We offer a full line of inserts to store your Kickstarter and retail ZBP ZGH collection:
- ZBP-001 – stores ZBP base and Wolfsburg components. Also stores the Green Horde components. Great for retail purchasers
- ZBP-002 – stores small expansions, Kickstarter extras, survivor cards, etc.
- ZBP-003 – stores the 5 large zombie minis/bosses
- ZBP-004 – this insert provides grouped storage for minis and/or individual storage for survivor minis. You may need a couple of these if you bought everything in the Kickstarter.
See our article on ZBP storage for more details.
This insert provides:
- a tile storage area that also provides six mini storage compartments for your heroes, plus top.
- a token box for storing your tokens, plus top
- two small storage trays for cards (sleeved or unsleeved) that stack together and include a top to protect your cards when stored
- two small minis storage bins with our innovative dividers and cross dividers, allowing for bulk or single minis storage
- large minis storage tray with dividers
- large player dashboards storage tray that has extra room for more dashboards, cardboard tiles, etc., plus top
- etched dividers and etched tabs for organizing your cards and zombie minis
Our Zombicide: Black Plague/Green Horde storage solution is designed with expansion in mind. For ZBP, the Wulfsburg expansion fits fine in this insert, with the following notes:
- The additional player dashboards will fit in the insert, but they will not allow the tray top to be used anymore. All ten dashboards will create a couple of millimeters box top lift. Nine creates almost not lift. If you choose to store only eight player dashboards, the dashboards tray top can be used and all is fine.
- The two additional tiles store fine in the tile tray.
- Plenty of room for the new cards.
- Plenty of room to store the new manual on top as well.
- Plenty of room for the new minis.
So, if you own Z:BP+Wulfsburg retail, there is plenty of room for everything in this single solution and everything stores fine and works as intended if you only put eight of the ten player dashboards in the dashboards tray. If you store nine of the dashboards in the solution, you can’t use the dashboards tray lid, but everything stores fine. Storing ten player dashboards will cause some box top lift.
If you own Zombicide: Green Horde, this storage solution will store your base game components and has a bit of extra room for the expansion components that CMON will ship out in the near future. This storage solution added a Trebuchet etched tab on Feb 23, 2018 and all kits shipped on this date or later contain this new etched tab for your Green Horde storage needs.
Product Notes
- This insert provides eight (8) removable trays – 1x large tray for player dashboards, 1x large tray for minis, 2x small trays for minis, 2x card trays, 1x token tray for use during setup and play, and a map tile base with miniatures storage. This insert is specifically designed with room on top for your rulebooks.
- This insert can store sleeved or unsleeved cards.
- This insert is constructed of HDF (wood product) and is natural colored. HDF does not contain a wood grain as it is a constructed wood product.
- Insert assembly requires some wood glue and about 55 minutes of assembly time. I recommend Sobo Craft glue or another comparable quick setting, tacky glue.
- This insert kit weighs > 2 pounds, so it must be shipped USPS Priority Mail outside of Canada and the United States.
- This product is not officially licensed. All marks are the property of their respective owners.

I noticed that there really isn’t an extensive review of the Black Plague Insert / Organizer, sooooo I thought I would give a full / pro con review.
PRO:
– The quality of the wood is quite nice, feels nice and sturdy. I wasn’t worried that anything would snap.
– Each piece was expertly etched. Usually on laser-cut wood I have to deal with partial cuts, that I have to finish with an exacto knife. Thankfully, I did NOT have that frustration with this insert at all. Everything popped out of it’s frame easily. (They even provide small / thin wooden pieces to help pop out the tiny areas)
– You can fit a surprising amount of equipment in this. I fit in mine: (1) The Base Game, (1) Guest Hero Box, (15-20) plastic Doors, (1) Wulfsburg Expansion, (1) Heroes Box #1. The only things I did not put in the organizer were items I no longer needed and kept in the empty wulfsburg box as “extras” (Cardboard doors, a few extra player dashboards, spare organizer parts)
– I still have a few empty slots open for further game expansion. (I could prob fit another 10+ heroes / abominations / necromancers)
– They give you plenty of spare pieces, so that you can tweak how your cards / heroes / etc fit.
– This is actually available RIGHT NOW. The broken token black plague organizer is still in it’s creation phase so is several months to a year away.
– The price isn’t too bad. Considering setting up the game takes FOREVER if you are pulling characters and cards out of baggies and ziplocks, the new ability to reduce clean-up and set up to mere minutes is well worth the price to me.
CON:
– Takes f*cking forever to assemble / glue / etc. It is worth the effort, but due to the sheer amount of parts, and some failings in the assembly directions (See below for more) it took a couple hours to leisurely assemble / Glue.
– The assembly instructions are rather lacking. I feel like a page was missing from mine, as the instructions ran out and I still have quite a few pieces left over. I eventually trial and errored’ together the last container, but it was not mentioned at all in the directions. (It also was the one container that did not fit in the box, however it came with it’s own special sliding lid/top so I was okay with that)
– Not so much a con, but a tip…Use painters or artists tape to keep the organizer in shape before you glue it. otherwise it will fall apart when you are trying to glue it. You can take the tape off when the glue has dried. (Do not glue in most of the panel dividers. You may need to adjust them when you eventually get more black plague pieces.)
– The organizer makes the game box quite a bit heavier that it originally was. Not unexpected, but thought I would mention it. (My wife seemed surprised by how much heavier it was. It didn’t really bother me, I kinda liked that it felt substantial.)
– No slot for the Character ID cards. I had to put them in with the dashboards. Not a deal breaker, but wish they had thought of a space for it.
– It took THREE weeks to arrive due to an issue with their laser cutter….While this won’t happen to everyone, quite a few of us simply had the bad timing to order during this period. Due to the delay, we were told a gift would be left in each of our orders. While I was sad my item was delayed so heavily, I was pleased that they offered a freebee …..until said freebee arrived. I was expecting plastic tokens, a coupon for my next order, etc. What I received was a single Die. Not dice, as in many, just one. Needless to say, while I appreciate free stuff, the 10-cent single die actually made me angrier than not getting anything extra at all.
Would I order another Organizer from Go7Gaming? Yes, if I had another inventory extensive game I think I would. Aside from the super long shipping delay (which I am going to chalk up as a one time thing) the assembly time and price are well worth the product you receive. If they work quickly enough, maybe they can get out a chest / insert for the upcoming Massive Darkness boardgame. Goodluck on that though, as the list of giant sized Roaming Monster mini’s is quite long.

Was delivered on less then a week, which is just awesome. Did a dry setup so i knew what went where and then got everything glued together within half hour. The card storage box is very cleverly designed.
Why “just about”and 4 stars? I have the knight pledge and the box holds everything except the survivors, id cards and the large abominations. Otherwise, everything fit, including all the NPCs. I don’t have the archers or the crows. The very base area does have room for survivors, but very few of them, and the large ones certainly won’t work there, so I’ll find another solution, but having (nearly) all the zombies in one box is way better then 4

This is the first time I have deviated from Broken Token and I have to say that overall I am impressed and happy with this organizer. I would buy it again, matter of fact I have for my GH expansion. However, it feels like this product is just one more iteration or design tweak from being perfect. I see so much potential here that couple make me a full time convert.
What was stored:
Black Plague Base Set and Wulfsburg Expansion, all cards sleeved, character minis stored with colored bases attached.
Positives:
– I love the quality of the wood. It’s solid and looks 10x more clean cut than competitors.
– The ability to “label” containers with provided wooden tags was a HUGE selling point for me.
– Ridiculous speed of packing and shipping, at least for my location it rivaled Amazon.
– Cost seems to be roughly 10% cheaper than avg. cost of wooden competitors.
– I really like that specific containers have lids, that helps a lot with box side storage.
– I was able to hold the expansion with only one compromise that was an annoyance.
– It’s easy to dry fit and make sure you have the design right.
Annoyances:
– Wulfabomination didn’t have a natural place to be stored. The base was so large that it would have forced survivors or necromancers out of their respective storage. So all characters are stored off individually while the Wulfabomination is stored with the Wulfs and just fits without overspilling out of the container.
– Joints require gluing which slows down the process. Makes it very easy to dry fit to make sure it’s right. Also makes it so you don’t have to smack pieces together with a rubber hammer which is nice. But it does slow down the process. So it’s a tradeoff.
– Dividers seemed too tight. They want to to temporarily insert them as the glue is setting, but if you don’t know how you want to divide things yet, that doesn’t make sense. Especially since they get so tight that inserting or removing caused me to pop a glued joint more than once. Almost as if they went out of their way to make joints go together easy but made the inserts too tight.
– I see the angle they worked with instructions, but they are not completely labeled so you wonder if what you have is an extra divider for later or a side of a future box. They need an articulated picture of how it goes together, how it fits in the box, and what each box is used for,
– The stacking card boxes are finicky to stack before putting back in box
Overall thoughts:
For as much as I had in the annoyances section, I *really* like the quality, turn around time to ship, and overall design. Next storage solution I need I will look here first before I go to my old standby. But if the designer/manufacturer is reading, you will see a repeating theme in the reviews – see if you can redesign to take it up a notch.

I got it for the new green horde. There is more figure, so they are a little tight. There is not enough room for all the title in the bottom(9 from base and 5 title s from friends and foes). And last, there is not a space for the trebuchet. Besides that it’s great. It’s fun to build. I do hope that they can put all the other stuff in one box. If they do, it would be great. It does make finding thing easier, and better game play.

There’s some storage issues still remaining that filling the expansion box would help resolve.
Negatives:
– After purchasing the game, expansion, hero packs, doors, upgraded tokens, and all the guest hero packs, This does not fit ALL of the survivors and the zombies in the same box.
– A spot for the WOLF Abomination isn’t really determined. (so i toss it in with wolves…) kinda annoying since everything else is nicely labeled.
– Not a clear spot for the survivor cards. “I’ve shoved them in with the plastic player boards” not really ideal and they don’t really fit well.
– Got way to many extra pieces to divide things. (felt kinda a waste a money to pay for those and get extra your not going to use…)
– The lids can be “tight” and hard to remove without finger nails. (mainly on the player boards and token box’s) I kinda wish they “over hung” slightly so you can grip it to remove it off the top.
– This last negative is only because i LOVE the idea and they have a great positive.. (no holes to label the small compartments on the bottom tray.) This goes along with me loving the labeling of compartments and you can’t do this on that section.
POSITIVES:
– Very CLEAN and easy to BUILD layout, as long as you have glue.
– LOVE LOVE LOVE the labels included to show where things are stored. I wish more would do this!! Great idea! Love those tabs. I wish there was more though. As i’m not stuck putting survivors in different spots. but still awesome addition.
– Love the idea of having lids and stacking box’s. Makes it very clean and neat looking!
– Great Price for what you get. I would recommend it!
So even though I gave it more negative comments over the positives, the positives are really strong and i would definently get this again. I wish there was a new one for the expansion box to add more for all the “guest survivors” would be neat to put them all in there own compartment and label it with there names like those tabs.. maybe an idea for the future.. also you need space for the player cards and boards.. and room for the crow pack, updated abominations “boss’s” and broken walls that are in the “parts pack”.
But this is a great start. love this kit. 4/5 stars! Get it, get it get it..

Overall a great product. With both the base game and expansion it is incredibly full, though. In fact, you couldn’t even fit all 10 player bases in the box for them (only 8, lol). It still fit everything else really well though! 90% great construction. Some places weren’t quite cut all the way, and some joints were a tiny bit /too/ tight. I wouldn’t dream of sending it back, though!

This review is for ZBP-001. This is a great box. It fits nicely into the original box. The material works really well. It pops out well in most cases and because it has no grain glue wipes off quite nicely. I was able to store everything from the base retail game, heroes-1, and npc-1. The box for storage of the walkers/etc is brilliant. It makes it so easy to reach in and grab some more during play. I would have given it 4.5 stars if I could.
There are some areas that can use improvement:
The directions should have another page to allow for larger type and and larger images. Its a bit tight for my old eyes and the sentences blur together. I am also not fond of the “vertical” storage boxes where the mini is standing up. It can be very hard to find a particular survivor when they are stored this way.
I would have preferred two shallow boxes to a single deep box in these cases if possible. Perhaps less of a case for larger minis but for “human” sized minis it is not ideal.
The label bits are a really nice idea. I wish they had cut out some blanks (there is plenty of room on the sheets) so that additional labels could be applied.
All in all a great build and I won’t hesitate to pick up more Go7 inserts. The core design of the boxes and dividers combined with the material used makes for an outstanding if not quite perfect product.
