The Go7 Gaming organizer for Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion includes all the great features you expect from Go7 Gaming – etched monster trays, etched token trays, etched dividers, room for sleeved cards, and our amazing character trays. This solution does create lid lift (22.6mm with manuals+game board on top or 6.3mm without). This is primarily due to our decision to use the same character boxes we use in our GH-001, so you can swap characters between game boxes in most cases.
This kit provides thirteen trays including:
- Four (4) character class storage boxes with lids to store your character cards, character ability cards, character boards, standees, minis, and tokens
- Three (3) etched token trays providing storage for conditions, damage, money, activation, terrain, traps, treasure chests, and elements (includes lid)
- One (1) large card tray that stores sleeved or unsleeved cards
- One (1) small card tray with etched dividers that stores sleeved or unsleeved cards
- One (1) legacy tray with room to store the A – D boxes and trashed cards
- One (1) stat card tray with room for stat envelopes
- One (1) monster storage tray with monster name etching to allow you to quickly find the monsters you need (includes lid)
- One (1) top tray with storage for bosses, bases, element board, and character pads (includes lid)
This solution provides an open space that is enclosed with trays for the character dials (see images).
Note: the monster Initiative tokens from early editions are small and fit into the monster tray on top of each respective stack monster tokens. Later editions have much larger initiative tokens. Due to their size, we suggest you store them in the legacy tray.
Note: The character trays are identical, except that one of them has a rather large hole in the base (Demolitionist). This is intentional. All will become clear as you play. In the meantime, you can seat your Demo mini where we have etched “Demo” in the tray.
Product Notes
- This insert provides thirteen (13) total trays.
- This insert is constructed of HDF (wood product) and is natural colored. HDF does not contain a wood grain as it is a constructed wood product.
- Insert assembly requires some wood glue and about 130 minutes of assembly time. We recommend Sobo Craft glue or another comparable quick setting, tacky glue.
- This product is not officially licensed. All marks are the property of their respective owners.

Just finished putting this organizer together. Question on the four character trays. One of the trays had the word ‘Demo’ etched inside of it and a large square hole where the figurine would normally go. I assume this was for the Demolitionist character, hence the word Demo but their figure falls through the square hole. Did I get a miscut tray, or does the large hole serve some unknown purpose?

If I purchase this does it come with the JoTL character boxes or gh001 char boxes?
How do I store everything for the red guard in the character box after level 5? I can’t seem to get it to fit?
I would also like to know this.
This item needs to be stored in the same tray you keep it in before boxed. Not ideal, but there wasn’t enough room for a taller tray.

Hi Thomas, the tile key is used to assist with removing monster tiles in the tighter compartments of the monster tray.
This is my first go7gaming organizer. What is the purpose of the Tile Key? Is it to open the boxes once the lids are on?

This organizer is everything I imagined it would be for JotL. It replaces the original character tuckboxes with something a little more robust as subsequent sessions would/do damage tuck boxes in my experience.
Assembly is easy and the instructions provided are super simple to follow. Storage of the assets once assembled is very clear and details how to assemble the items with minimal box lift (the world map, manuals, scenario maps and addendum books). I think at a maximum it’s about a half of an inch.
This insert accommodates sleeved cards (I use Fantasy Flight’s sleeves and there’s more than enough room). Best protection for the money. All of my Gloomhaven products utilize G7 inserts and it’s never been a regret. I look forward to the Frosthaven insert when it is available. I intentionally opted not to get the competitor during the kickstarter because I enjoyed the G7 version much better!

This was a great organizer and makes setting up the game way easier. Highly recommend this purchase! The only thing was one of my character boxes says “demo” and has a very large square hole versus the other 3 character boxes have two small slits for the miniature. I am not sure if this was supposed to be this way because the instructions show it having the two slits, and not the large square hole. I was afraid my miniature might fall out or stick out of the hole and get messed up, so i am very careful with that one.

The go7gaming gloomhaven organizers are the way to go. The character boxes are perfect and let you store all the abilities, items, and modifier cards along with your mini and other tokens for your character in a single box. The boxes match in this organizer and the main Gloomhaven one which makes it super nice if you are playing some of the Jaws of the Lion Characters in Gloomhaven as you can just switch them out.
The build is excellent and everything fits back into the box perfectly. It feels so satisfying and is a must if you sleeve cards. I plan on coming back to Go7Gaming to buy their Frosthaven organizer as soon as they have it and recommend this to anyone who is considering an organizer for any Gloomhaven. The setup time is drastically reduced and it’s easier to find anything you need.

Impressive design/engineering went in to these storage trays. While this is ‘normal’ for Go7, the JotL insert is, I think, particularly cool: The nesting of the boxes and the attention paid to the groupings of components in their respective boxes is impressive, as is the attention paid to small details, such as the little square cutout in the character box lids that identify the contents by creating a little window through which the character icon on the character card can be seen.
Having all the bits nicely separated actually improves the game play experience– no more searching through a bin of combined condition chits, for example– let alone reduction in set up time.

After assembling the Gloomhaven organizer this was a snap. The character boxes assemble the same way and the experience I brought with me made this simple. Used Elmer’s White Glue and painters tape to glue and keep the parts together while the glue dried (which it’s currently doing). I just finished assembly so I haven’t transferred the pieces into it and put it into the box but am certain that there will be no fit issues.
One minor, one medium complaint:
Minor: the laser cutting is so good that I found it impossible to keep the pieces in the sheets once I’d removed them from the zip lock bag. If Go7 would insert a sheet of paper or tissue between the plywood sheets it might help with this and let a beginner set each sheet aside with the parts still all in it prior to starting construction.
Medium: unlike the Gloomhaven organizer the box tops are not laser etched. While there’s considerably fewer cardboard pieces in JoTL it would have been a nice touch for the smaller boxes containing the status, money, trap, etc… tokens to be labeled on the tops like the Gloomhaven organizer is. I will likely print their contents to copier paper, add a dab of glue then tape over the paper so that I can tell what’s in what at a glance.
All in all it’s a good product and would recommend it even with these issues.

Amazing!
The space management is superb, it even stores the Player dials and characters sheets, which is an improvement from the Gloomhaven insert, a job well done.
The instructions are crystal clear, this is not something you will be seeing very often when it comes to inert, and Go7gamming does it in a terrific way!
Feedback:
1. The pieces came scrambled, since the laser cuts were too deep (this is minor for me, excellent product)
2. Label all the boxes, I can ensure you buyers are going to thank for it! Not only for Gloomhaven series, but in general!
I will definitely be coming to you guys first to get my inserts!

From shopping around, go7 came up as the highest rated insert for Gloomhaven! I happened to get this one and the base GH one. Putting this together I had to start slow as I’m not much of a crafts person, but I picked up speed as I went along. I think the time recommendation is 2 hours, but is easily took me 4-5 total over a few days. I had the recommended glue, but had to use a lot of Q-tips to apply/cleanup. Later I found using a small paintbrush actually was even superior for all the edges and corners.
In any case my only complaint is there is a lack of external/top labeling on these boxes, so you simply have to memorize what is what. I believe in the big GH insert this isn’t the case. Seems like they could have done it here. But I recommend this insert! While JOTL isn’t particularly hard to setup due to the scenario book, this still makes things quicker and holds everything really nicely, including sleeved cards. I especially like the token trays and small card holder box.

Jaws of the Lion comes with a better organization system than its big brother, so I almost didn’t bother buying this organizer. But, man, am I glad I did! This thing is fantastic, and it makes setup and cleanup so much easier.

Did a bunch of research trying to find the best insert for Gloomhaven JoL. It brought me here and I am super happy with my purchase that I went and bought the Go7 insert for Gloomhaven as well. The boxes are well made and feel great. Everything fits in the box perfectly with some lid lift which doesn’t bother me. I really like how they have the character boxes so i can just pass those around to my players and it has everything they need. I also like that most of the trays come with lids. so in case the box falls or accidently gets flipped i dont have to worry about pieces flying around and out of their tray.

This is the second organizer I’ve gotten from Go7Gaming (the first being for the base game Gloomhaven) and it has been phenomenal. Not only is it a bit of an enjoyment to put together, it holds up well and looks nice. All the pieces fit together well and it goes into the Jaws of the Lion box perfectly. I have no complaints for this product. Well done Go7Gaming!

The overall production and design of this insert is amazing. Unfortunately it appears that since Gloomhaven Jaws of the Lion was released the size of the initiative tokens has increased dramatically (presumably to the size of the original Gloomhaven tokens). The result is that the tokens are just too long to fit into any of the monster token containers in this insert and have to stored in a bag elsewhere, very much reducing that facet of combat set-up.

I really like this layout. The quality of the components great. The assembly compared to others on the market is horrendous. You have to hold or clamp pieces together while the glue holds. One of the player boxes has an abnormally large whole the other boxes don’t have and the character hangs out of it

I have always liked the material that go7gaming uses for their storage. While heavier than their competitors, it is definitely more durable. What I also like more than anything is the text etching that provides a quick and easy way to know where components go, making everything easier to find, especially when you are new to the game and still learning how to play. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a storage solution for this game.

Another great organizer. Very well thought out and effective in storing all the bits and bobs from JOL. I also have the organizer for Gloomhaven so really like that the character boxes can go back and forth since we are playing JOL characters in our ongoing G’Haven game before we transition over to JOL. Highly recommend this for the game.
