The Go7 Gaming Organizer for Frosthaven provides thirty-nine (39) trays of storage! This solution provides storage for all of the contents of Frosthaven, except for map tiles. We offer a top tray (FH-002) for map tile storage if you prefer a solution that has all Frosthaven contents stored in the same box. You may also want to consider an accordion file folio to store and divide your map tiles.
As with our Gloomhaven solution, our approach with this organizer provides dedicated character trays for each character. This approach uses more wood and laser time, but results in the least fiddly approach possible when retiring and starting new characters. It also allows for multiple concurrent games, as long as your characters in each party don’t overlap.
The character trays are designed to store in use cards sleeved. Unused character cards can be sleeved in many cases but not all.
This solution results in 13mm of lid lift.
This organizer kit includes:
- seventeen (17) removable, lidded character trays providing storage for small cards, large cards, mini(s), tokens, and character dashboard
- four (4) removable monster trays + tile keys for easy tile removal
- three (3) removable small card trays with etched dividers and support for sleeved/unsleeved cards
- two (2) removable small card trays with etched dividers and support for sleeved/unsleeved cards
- two (2) removable, lidded condition token trays with etching for each condition token type
- two (2) large removable terrain trays + tile keys for easy tile removal
- two (2) removable dial trays for storage player dials
- one (1) removable envelope tray for envelope and puzzle book storage
- one (1) removable stand tray for storing character bases
- one (1) small, removable token tray providing storage for element and scenario aid tokens
- one (1) small, removable terrain tray #1 providing storage for small overlays such as stairs, doors, barrels, etc.
- one (1) small, removable terrain tray #2 providing storage for single- and double-hex terrain tiles
- one (1) removable, lidded damage token tray for storing damage tokens and for use during play
- one (1) removable stat card tray providing stat card, stat card envelope, and character pad storage
Frosthaven initiative tokens are used to identify the monster tiles. The multiple uses (and names) for various terrain tiles made it very challenging to etch those item names; however, the terrain tiles in Frosthaven are very distinct in shape and coloration and our use of the trays during scenario setup has found etching is not needed. We do provide etching in cases where a tray is lidded and the contents are not obvious.
Product Notes
- This insert is constructed of HDF (wood product) and is natural colored. HDF does not contain a wood grain as it is a constructed wood product.
- Sleeved or unsleeved cards are support. We used FFG fitted sleeves for this design.
- Insert assembly requires some wood glue and about 220 – 480 minutes of assembly time. We recommend Sobo Craft glue or another comparable quick setting, tacky glue.
- This product is not officially licensed. All marks are the property of their respective owners.

After unboxing and preparing Frost Haven, we decided to look into organizers. We read reviews on BGG and watched an informative and humourous review on YouTube by Shelfside comparing the folded space and laser ox organizers. Then we found the G07 organizer…
The Good:
It arrived quickly, 4 days total from order placement to delivery in the continental U.S.
It is sturdy, laser cut 3mm MDF. The instructions are fairly easy to follow.
The organizer allows the monsters to lay flat with their initiative banners readable, in roughly alphabetical order, across 4 trays. That was the biggest positive for us. The terrain also lays flat.
The card boxes hold sleeved cards, with extra room for more, and there are etched dividers for items and event cards. There are sturdy boxes that hold the character board, cards and tokens, with the miniature inside.
It all goes back into the FH box neatly.
This is a quality product that was well thought out.
The Bad
The organizer has to be glued together. There are some parts that have very subtle differences, and it is easy to get the parts reversed. I would suggest labelling the parts with a pencil before removing them from the frame.
The organizer comes in 4 heavy duty zipper bags, each containing 8 frames of parts. They are in no particular order, so you have to sort them out, (they are numbered) and parts will fall off the sprue as they are removed from the bag. They are also dusty and have an odor, so be prepared if you have a sensitivity to that kind of thing.
The Ugly
It clocks in at a hefty 8 pounds, so it will add weight to an already heavy game.
We kept track of the time to assemble the organizer, and it took us over 9 hours to put together ( one experienced builder, and one novice builder ).
Price with shipping, was around $136.
Other points of interest:
The organizer does not hold the map tiles, and the flow chart sheet. That is separate purchase. We put our map tiles in an accordion folder.
The box does not fully close. The organizer leaves an 11mm gap. Barely noticeable, but worth noting.
So, would I recommend it?
Yes, if you have the money to spend and want a sleeved card and flat monster organization option.
Cheers!

I bought the Gloomhaven organizer from GO7, and absolutely loved it. For Frosthaven, I was originally going to try and use the in box organization system. But after the plastic insert bent a few card sleeves, I knew I was going to want to get an organizer. When I saw GO7 had one for Frosthaven, I knew which I had to get.
The organizer is wonderful in a lot of ways, many of which cary over from Gloomhaven. The card storage with modular dividers is still my favorite way to adjust to haven’s evolving card storage needs. The etching of some categories on the ends makes it a little harder to move things around, but does save space that would have needed to be filled by a divider. And storing the terrain and monsters face up makes finding them in set up a breeze, even easier now with the initiative trackers. I thought I would be concerned about the lack of lids, but I’m not. The cards don’t have lids either and have been fine, and any extra wood would have added to the weight. You have them where you need them (the small status tokens).
The character boxes storing the minis with the cards and components remain a huge draw of this organizer. However, these are not quite as good this time around. Partly because I used the sleeves that came with backing Frosthaven this time, (rather than the slimmer Delphia sleeves I would recommend) and partly because there are more extra components this time, I don’t think I will be able to store the active character modifier deck in the individual box. Everything else fits sleeved, but adding that deck would make it too tight a fit. So, i won’t be able to store everything an active character needs in the box. Also, a couple of the larger minis barely fit, and they are looser in the box this time as there is no base dock slot (due to the textured bases). I’m also slightly concerned about the cut out for the character symbol. It’s positioning on the lid means there is a very thin bit of wood on one side, making it the structural weak point. I might have liked to see a slightly larger box, and potentially a better solution for keeping the minis in place. Not a deal breaker though, as it should be simple enough to store the active player decks with the other euro cards.
For new stuff, I do really like the tray with the monster cards and character sheet pads. The cut out on the bottom makes it easy to get them out. I also like the little boxes for the player dials, and that they are closer in location to the player boxes. Storing them on top in the tray worked, but this does make set up easier.
Finally, two tips. First, while the monster cards work fin in alphabetical order I would still divide the somehow. I’ve found a third of an index card trimmed down works really well, though a bit of sticky note also works (you can see both in my example shot as I ran out of index cards). Second, absolutely get an accordion file for the tiles. You can also see mine in the attached, which I just store next to the box. Much easier to find tiles that way.
Overall, very pleased with the purchase even if I have some nitpicks.

These organizers work so well with all of the Gloomhaven games. I was excited to receive my Frosthaven one and assembly took about 7 hours. Using a paintbrush to apply the glue was a huge time saver. I did make a few errors but thankfully I caught them before the glue had dried.
Three things I would change about this organizer (all minor)
1. Etching on the character boxes would be extremely helpful. That being said, I am a crafty person so I used my Cricut to make vinyl stickers for each one (see picture).
2. I would have preferred if the card holder trays didn’t have etching on the front. I wanted to organize the cards slightly differently but because of this etching, I couldn’t. Again, minor thing.
3. I prefer the GH monster trays as they came with lids.
Speaking of the card holder trays: I have sleeved all of the small cards and they fit snuggly but there is some room to spare in a couple spots. Same with the large cards. I do wish there was an etched divider for player modifier decks.
The character boxes fit everything perfectly.

Overall it is a good storage solution. It fits everything nicely in the box. I also purchased the top tray which I am happy with and feel it was worth getting. It did take me a good amount of time to get it all built. As for the issues, the image for loading the tray is not the best quality and a bunch of the tokens are washed out by their lighting making it hard to tell what goes where. The decision to have some part of the card trays etched, but others not and having the insert dividers is a confusing one to me and limits your options somewhat. Finally the character trays I see two issues, one is the character card at the top can sometimes have to fit very snuggly and getting it back out can be challenging and the only solution I have found for getting it out is to flip the box over and shake it out which depending on how careful you are and how aggressive you need to be, can make a bit of a mess. Also it seems like because of the extra parts included with some characters it seems like the player attack value cards might not always fit in the box and will have to be stored elsewhere.

I backed Frosthaven and included the foam organizer in my backing. The foam organizer was fine but I found everything packed so tightly that it was difficult to get cards out or in. The design choice of monster organizing was a challenge.
I owned the Go7 Gloomhaven organizer so I knew something could be better and I was delighted to buy this to replace the foam organizer and I can say the Go7 design choice to have the monster and terrain tiles in individual compartments is a massive improvement to play. All of us were very happy to have our Frosthaven cards and tokens in these organizers.
We have just one place we would improve. The Go7 organizer boxes for each character has small interior openings for fingers to pick out the cards easily. These character boxes are missing that interior space for fingers to pluck out cards. I miss this. But the Monster deck and sleeve holder has the perfect ideas that could have been used here. The card spaces in the character boxes could have had a peep hole on the back to allow easy popping out of the cards. Otherwise right now we are having to turn the entire character box upside down to pull out the cards, but that means the tokens will spill out too. As I said, a small improvement and these would have been perfect.
Still giving 10/10!

The individual boxes for each mercenary puts Go7gamings’s product above the rest in my opinion!

I have the inserts for all the games in this “universe”. I just completed the build for Frosthaven as I await the arrival of the game. These are the best inserts for this set of games by far. The overall organization is very good, and the individual character boxes are excellent.
My only minor complaint would be that I wish more trays had lids. I liked the additional lids on the G’haven set.
Overall a GREAT product and everything went together very smoothly.

So far the product has been super sturdy for me. There are little details that made me smile, like the design of the card separators. The put together time was about 5 hours but will definitely save that much time given how huge and lengthy this game is. Highly approve!

This is my first Go7 organizer, and I am really impressed with the thoughtful and functional design. Construction was well documented and straight forward with great instructions and labels. I would highly recommend and am even looking at getting my next one for other game titles on my shelf. I also had an issue with one missing wall, posted a service ticket and Go7 had my replacement piece in the mail within 24 hours…Amazing!

Quality product that dramatically reduces set-up and tear down time. I did purchase a separate accordion folder for the map tiles.

My main attraction to this and the gloomhaven insert were the character boxes. I love being able to toss out those thin boxes for all that stuff. It can be a little tricky to manage sleeves and tokens in those boxes but it works. The monster and terrain trays are great too. Not a fan of the default pile of baggies and random assortment of tokens.
My only minor complaint is I did not like the engraved categories on the front of the card trays, and I wish there were a few more large card dividers, but i can live without.

I’m very excited about this organizer. I had the GH organizer from Go7: it was amazing and I can see from the pictures there have been further improvements in the design.
I just got the game and an insert from a popular company, and I can already tell it’s not going to cut it. Will be switching it out for this organizer soon!
