Design Description

The Go7 Gaming BOX-003D is a medium-sized external organizer designed to store standard and/or mini cards that are common in many games such as Asmodee’s LCGs.  The solution also provides a single, lidded token tray, which is stored in the center lane of the card organizer.  This solution provides a compartment with a swing-out door for game rulebooks that uses a magnetic closing solution.   This box uses a two-layer external build that gives the solution a wonderful look.

This solution design includes:

• internal card organizer
• dual layer external shell
• lidded token tray
• small card insert
• dividers

The pictures provided illustrate the card storage solution cut and stained using Baltic Birch wood, while the token tray was cut using HDF and not stained.  We cut most of the dividers from HDF and stained them brown or black.  We also provided a Baltic Birch divider to give you the widest range of material and finish examples to help you determine which materials to use for your project.

Upper Lid Magnetic Closure

The upper lid storage door system uses four (4) Neodymium disc magnets that measure 5mm x 3mm.  You can use any suitable sized magnets by simply replacing the cutout in the design with larger/smaller ones as needed.  For reference, we used these magnets:

Solution Finish

You can use any stain you prefer.  You can also use paints, but paints do require more care when applying so that you don’t impair the ability to slide dividers into the insert.

We have provided the stains we used in the design unit in the pictures below.

For the external shell we used:

Product Design Notes

• This external organizer design can store sleeved or unsleeved cards.
• This insert includes an etched, lidded bit tray that stores in the center lane.  The tray can be configured with 2-8 compartments for storing your tokens.
• This insert has 480mm of card lane storage. It can store ~1600 unsleeved cards or ~960 Mayday Premium sleeved cards (.50mm per card) or ~888 Ultra Pro Deck Protector sleeved cards (.54mm per card). Keep in mind each divider will also use 3mm of card lane space. The values used for the card thickness estimate = .3mm.
• Organizer assembly requires some wood glue and about 60 minutes of assembly time. We recommend Sobo Craft glue or another comparable quick setting, tacky glue.
• This product is not officially licensed.  All marks are the property of their respective owners.
