The Go7 Gaming Agricola organizer, by virtue of the space limitations of the box, is best used with unsleeved cards.
The insert offers a removable tile caddy, a removable resource tray, a handy player bit storage area, and four card storage areas.
What Does It Hold?
The resource tray stores the round resource disks with no problems, and stores the new animeeples that are provided by Lookout along with the resource disks for veggies with no problem. The combination of animeeples and veggiemeeples is also possible, but it’s a little tight and will require some attention when packing up.
The small bit box with the Agricola engraving has an optional divider. If you store the Farmers’ horses and peat tokens with the divider, three of the horses won’t fit. If you build without the divider, they all fit together fine. If you don’t own Farmers, the small engraved bit box offers additional storage for other resources, such as food.
Overall, this organizer is quite roomy if you don’t own the Farmers expansion. If you own the Farmers’ expansion + veggiemeeples + animeeples, you will need to use care when packing everything up. The images on this page are Agricola + Farmers + 2 player occupations from all expansions + all English-released minors from every expansion. Because we used the divider in the small engraved box, three horses didn’t fit. We placed them in the caddy slots.
Card-wise, if you don’t own Farmers, you have some room to store additional card expansions (unsleeved).
This insert fits a specific niche. If you own everything, it’s not for you.
Product Notes
- This organizer kit provides four (4) card storage areas. There is plenty of clearance at the top for rulebooks and larger cardboard boards (up to five player boards + game boards).
- This organizer kit provides one removable resource tray for use during play.
- This organizer kit provides one removable tile caddy for use during play.
- This organizer is lovingly crafted with laser power using a 3mm HDF wood product and is natural colored. HDF does not contain a wood grain as it is a constructed wood product.
- Allows sleeved or unsleeved cards, but sleeved cards will not fit fully in the organizer. This organizer is designed for unsleeved cards. This should not present a challenge since the cards in Agricola are very high quality and have white borders. Free your sleeved Agricola cards! Using unsleeved cards, you can store the Farmers expansion or a large number of the card expansions.
- Organizer assembly requires some wood glue and about 40 minutes of assembly time. I recommend Sobo Craft glue or another comparable quick setting, tacky glue.

I ordered this recently, never having ordered anything like this before. I found the construction pretty easy to figure out, and it gave me something to do while I was at home sick with a cold for 5 days too. An extra box was included for free, which was greatly appreciated. I just have to figure out what I’m going to put in there now.

First of all, be very careful assembling this, as it’s very easy to get one particular part backwards and mess it up, or at least make it very difficult on yourself to fix it.
The quality is very nice, and the organization is good except for one thing. The trays for the player pieces (fences, family members and stables) is a very tight fit. It seems they could have used up some of the excess room in the card sections to make larger sections for the player pieces, so it’s not as efficient as it could be. As it stands, I can only get the player pieces to all fit if they are stored in a very specific manner. You can’t just throw the pieces back in like you can with many other organizers.
*maybe the extra card space is for additional expansions that I don’t have. I only have the base game decks and FotM.
That said, it’s nice to have something that holds both the base game and the expansion.

I am very impressed with this storage kit. The pieces fit together beautifully and it will make storage and set up so much easier. The instructions are clear and complete.
I have dry-fit all the boxes but haven’t glued them yet. It’s obvious though that once I’ve added the glue, the units will be solid and should hold up well for years.

I eagerly awaited this item, and when it arrived, I assembled it, and found that the build diagram was, IMO, ambiguous – I therefore assembled it with two stick-out tabs on the wrong side of the box, necessitating their removal before the tile caddy would fit.
This was actually unimportant, because I found that the organizer simply couldn’t hold the game, with or without the Farmer’s expansion. Before you ask, yes, my set is a Z-man 2013 edition, not the larger 2016 set. The player pieces just can’t fit in the small areas in the bottom tray for the other pieces to sit atop them – I’d have to store them outside the box. I also found the tile caddy inadequate, as with the Farmer’s expansion I had to use the spaces between the caddy boxes to store pieces.
I’ve gone back to my foamcore solution and set this aside. It’s the first Go7 product I wasn’t pleased with.

Well, just a suggestion then, I’d pay for one of your “chest” solutions for Agricola. With a slightly larger outer box, the game could be much more playable.

Well, after much wrangling, I’ve managed to get it to “fit”. However, that’s an extremely relative term. The red player pieces appear to be slightly longer than the other colors, and they will only fit in one particular slot, and even then they are so tight that I have to remove them with the aid of a pliers.
I’d say this insert is pretty good for long-term storage of the game, but borderline unusable if you play the game often. It’s simply too much work to put it all back in the box when the fit is this tight – it took me nearly half an hour.
I see that there is a new Agricola insert – is it better? Given that I intend to actually play the game, does it facilitate that? Thanks for your trouble.

Vince, it sounds like the red fences are out of tolerance. We have received no other reports of issues such as this. As you have noted, this insert, unlike all of our others inserts, is very snug. The fences almost snap into the storage slots. If a fence is longer than usual, it will be troublesome. However, the fences should not require pliers to remove. If so, they are longer than they should be…
The 2016 edition of the Agricola insert is basically the same with regards to the player component storage area. The fences almost snap in, however, the player pieces will fit in either direction in the 2016 edition.
Overall, this insert is one of our tightest storage solutions. The box just doesn’t afford any opportunity for spare space.

Hi Vince,
Did you store the player fences per the image? This entire solution is very tight, but if you store the bits as shown in the images, the only challenge you might encounter is card store depending on the amount of cards you have as noted in the description and whether you sleeve. Feel free to snap a few photos and send them to us so we can see how you are storing everything. We can likely help.

This is the only wooden Agricola organizer I have been able to find in the US, and I am glad I did. The price is competitive to similar products, instructions were easy to follow, and All the pieces to the Z-Man games edition fit with room to spare. Set up and tear down is so much easier than my prior solution which was a bead box. I can now completely close the box lid as it was intended. It does require wood glue, time, and patience, but the end product is worth it.

I have the original Agricola with larger fences and blocks for animals. Will it fit with this divider? My guess is no unless I get the smaller fences then it would fit. Can anyone confirm?

Jeff, I have the large fences and animeeples and my bits fit fine. The Agricola box inserts are designed with just enough tolerance for the fences to fit, but it is very important that your cleanup excess glue. The fences almost snap into the fence storage area. Vince’s issue is the only one reported with fences with across the three years this insert has been available. Your blocks will fit fine as well.

The quality of the materials is great however, it’s kind of a pain to glue together since the pieces don’t hold with any friction (if the cuts were a tad smaller, it will hold better when trying to setup.
However, the real problem is the trying to place the player pieces in the box. Not every piece is uniform and you have to stick them in “Just right” or it won’t fit (look at the picture that shows this). It takes about 2-3 minutes per player to get the pieces back in, and because the of the extra tight fit I needed pliers to get them out. It’s laughable how bad it is. I was really disappointed as I spent a good hour or two gluing everything together. I hope this doesn’t indicate the quality of their work in general since I have two other inserts to assemble.

Update: I was able to acquire the Farmer’s Moor expansion. The ONLY reason I bought this insert was because I planned to buy the expansion and I wanted an insert to hold them both. I am incredibly frustrated by the result.
– The instructions say that they can fit the farmers moor expansion … this confuses me because there is a LOT more content pieces in the expansion than they show fitting into the stock images. I was completely unable to fit everything into their designated spots and had to slay things randomly around in minor nooks and cranny’s to fit. I have about a half inch lift on the box with the Farmers Moor expansion in.
All-in-all, this isn’t helping me to setup, breakdown, organize, or be very effective at combining boxes. I just feel like it doesn’t live up to the go gaming quality.

At first I didn’t realize I would need glue to assemble this, but it was kind of a fun project to put together in the end.
I have some custom meeples and had to get a little creative to get everything to fit, but it did and now I love it!

I constructed this insert and surprised my nephew with it as a gift. After a few months he said he was very impressed at how much time this insert saved him in setting up and tearing down the game. “I don’t have to worry about the pieces in bunch of different baggies or flying all over the box anymore either. Everything is neat and has a place.”
