Our storage solution for the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game core set reboot (2019) provides structured card storage and two token trays to organize your character pawns and tokens.
This storage solution provides:
- one (1) insert providing card storage
- one (1) removable tray providing storage for character pawns, dice, and character bases with three (3) dividers
- one (1) removable tray with three (3) compartments for token storage (includes lid)
This storage solution is built with future expansions in mind and there is extra room for additional components in the trays.
This solution is designed to allow for the storage of the game manuals on top of the main insert. There is room for several more storybooks.
Product Notes
- This solution provides a main insert, two (2) removable trays, and nine (9) dividers. Additional PATH-DIVB-003 dividers are available here.
- This insert provides 770mm of card storage space. Each card is .3mm thick. If sleeved, thickness will typically be .5mm per card. The cardboard dividers provided with the game are .4mm each and our wood dividers are 3mm each.
- This insert is constructed of HDF (wood product) and is natural colored. HDF does not contain a wood grain as it is a constructed wood product.
- Insert assembly requires some wood glue and about 50 minutes of assembly time. We recommend Sobo Craft glue or another comparable quick setting, tacky glue.
- This product is not officially licensed. All marks are the property of their respective owners.

Space is limited in this smaller core box, compared to the previous edition pathfinder boxes. This insert will help, keep in mind I am more of a hardcore player that sleeves all the cards. If you are actually looking for an insert, I’m guessing you will be as well.
If you get this product, definitely need to get the extra dividers (sold separately) to make use of this and to make the breakdown and setup of the game easier. Especially when wanting to split up monsters, barriers, weapons, spells, armors, allies, blessings into piles that are in use and not in use. It is unfortunate there aren’t enough dividers that come in the base insert product.
Also the dividers could have been designed better. This game requires a more dynamic box where the space between dividers need to grow and shrink based on what cards are in use. If there is a divider in an adjacent row, it blocks it from being placed side by side. Dividers from the “classic” pathfinder games from Broken Token allow for dividers in side by side rows as an example.
The token trays are interesting but the lid doesn’t make sense. It sticks and doesn’t allow for easy removal. A lid should actually be easy to open. As the token tray is put on its side, the tokens will fall out if no lid, but very problematic to open if used. This lid is actually a terrible design which would have been a bigger issue if not for the following.
I ended up not using the token trays at all, partially for the lid issue. Space is rather limited in the core box and I personally ended up leaving them out completely to use that space for a larger ~100 dice bag. I put the tokens for use in the pathfinder core game in smaller bags which will lay on top of the cards in order to maximize use of space.
