Note: the Archangel from the base game must be stored in our MD2-005 due to space constraints. It can also simply be stored in any empty box you have.

- one (1) removable tray for storing smaller minis and tokens
The lid closes flat with zero lift.

MD2-004D Design Description
The Go7 Gaming storage solution design for Massive Darkness 2: Four Horsemen expansion provides card, token, and minis storage across two (2) trays and one main insert. This solution design is designed to specifically store the content from Four Horsemen, Rainbow Crossing, and Gates of Hell in the Four Horsemen or Rainbow Crossing boxes. This solution design provides storage for game manuals on top of the trays.
This storage solution design provides:
- one (1) fixed insert that is designed to store minis and cards, with mini number etchings for fast storage
- one (1) removable large token tray for storing jumbo cards and minis
- one (1) removable small tray for tokens
The lid closes flat with zero lift, as long as you choose to store your eight map tiles from these expansions in an empty box, such as Rainbow Crossing. If you choose to store the eight map tiles on top of these trays, it will generate ~20mm of lid lift.
Minis are stored using their respective mini number on the bottom of the mini. The last page of the build instructions provides a key (by mini number) for the minis in this expansion.
MD2-005D Design Description
The Go7 Gaming storage solution design for Massive Darkness 2: Demon Dragon is designed to store ALL of the following expansions:
- Demon Dragon
- War of Souls

- Druids
- Bards
- and the Archangel Michael from the base game
We do this using one main insert and six additional trays. This solution design provides storage for game manuals on top of the trays.
This storage solution design provides:
- one (1) fixed insert that is designed to store 14 minis, with mini number etchings for fast storage
- one (1) removable card tray with storage for small and large cards, including dividers

- one (1) removable large token tray for storing jumbo cards and tokens
- one (1) removable small mini tray, providing storage for 15 minis
- one (1) removable large mini tray, providing storage for 26 minis
Miscellaneous cardboard is stored on top of the trays, along with the game manuals. The lid closes flat with zero lift, if you choose to store your single map tile from Demon Dragon in an empty box, such as Rainbow Crossing. If you choose to store the map tile on top of these trays, it will generate 2mm of lid lift.
Minis are stored using their respective mini number on the bottom of the mini. The last page of the build instructions provides a key (by mini number) for the minis stored in this organizer.
MD2-006D Design Description
The Go7 Gaming storage solution design for Massive Darkness 2: Rainbow Crossing is designed to store one set of all terrain options and nine (9) map tiles from other expansions on top of the tray.
This storage solution design provides:
- one (1) fixed insert that is designed to store one complete set of terrain minis
The lid closes flat with zero lift.
As seen in the images, we chose to cut a tab out of the box base to provide an easy way to remove our map tiles. You may wish to consider doing the same.
MD2-007D Design Description
The Go7 Gaming storage solution design for Massive Darkness 2: Medium Expansions is designed to store all components from one of the following medium expansions:
- Feyfolk
- Gates of Hell
- War of Souls
This storage solution design provides:
- one (1) fixed insert that is designed to store minis with etched name tabs
- one (1) removable card tray that provides card storage for jumbo, large, and small cards (sleeved or unsleeved)
- two (2) removable token trays
The lid closes flat with zero lift.
This kit provides the name tabs for all three games. If you own all three medium expansions and you don’t also own Demon Dragon, you will need three of these.
MD2-008D Design Description
The Go7 Gaming storage solution design for Massive Darkness 2: Small Expansions is designed to store one complete set of components from one of: Bards, Druids, or Monks small expansions. Small cards are stored in the insert itself, while the large and jumbo cards are stored in a recessed area in the bottom of the insert.
This storage solution design provides:
- one (1) fixed insert that is designed to store one complete small expansion, including one (1) small divider
A couple of these small expansions have larger 2mm cardboard boards that must be stored on top of the insert with the instructions. Surprisingly, due to the flimsy construction of these boxes, this does not really contribute any lid lift.
MD2-009D Design Description
The Go7 Gaming storage solution design for Massive Darkness 2: Box of Holding is designed to store the Archangel Michael only. This external storage solution design is for Massive Darkness 2 owners that do not own the Demon Dragon expansion and our associated organizer design. This solution design is etched and includes 3mm cut outs that can be used to glue on top of the etchings, perhaps after painting. Or you can just build this box of holding, store Michael, and get on with your gaming! Your choice.
This storage solution design provides:
- one (1) external box of holding that holds the Archangel Michael from the base game (because he doesn’t fit in there)
As noted, you can optionally paint the box (ideally while still in the laser plates) and the 3D letters and symbols, and then glue the 3D components on top of the etchings. Or not. It’s all up to you.

Product Design Notes
- These organizer designs can store sleeved / unsleeved cards using FFG sleeves.
- Organizer assembly requires some wood glue and rubber mallet and several hundred minutes of build time. We recommend Sobo Craft glue or another comparable quick setting, tacky glue.
