While we suppose you could use this brush holder to hold brushes employed for less important pursuits, we only considered storing paint brushes used for painting minis. This single brush holder kit includes the following features:
- eight (8) brush compartments
- on one side of the brush holder we have engraved the brush sizes that should be stored in each compartment and the engraving includes the following sizes: <0, 0, 1, 2, 3+, Shade, Special #1, Special #2
Note: you may choose to have The Painted Meeple logo engraved on this brush holder. Every BH-001 purchased with The Painted Meeple’s logo on it means we slide him some cash in a paint stained envelope to help enhance his media organization.
Product Notes
- Dimensions = ~5.75″ x 3″ x 4.25″ high
- Insert assembly requires some wood glue and about 15 minutes of assembly time. I recommend Sobo Craft glue or another comparable quick setting, tacky glue.
- This kit is constructed of HDF (wood product) and is natural colored. HDF does not contain a wood grain as it is a constructed wood product.
- This product offers licensed engravings in some variations. All marks are the property of their respective owners; specifically, the Painted Meeple logo is the property of The Painted Meeple.

Works great at holding and organizing brushes. Easily holds at least 6-8 brushes per slot without feeling cramped. The only thing missing for me is a section labeled “Dry” but the two special spots allow for lots of flexibility for what a painter wants. If I had suggestions for a 2.0, I would say maybe an expanded version with more slots to hold other tools (pens, hobby knives, files, etc), and possibly the option for custom labeling at a reasonable mark-up.

This is exactly what I needed, I wanted several different compartments for different brushes and tools. This works perfectly and was actually fun to put together. It took about 20 minutes – no problems. I first saw this on Painted Meeple Twitch stream. Cool stuff. Thanks

When it says a fast build, he means it. it took literally less than 10 minutes to put this thing together. Sturdy and not prone to tipping over. Rectangular design fits well on my work station.
