What Do You Need?
- If you own the 2ed base game and all seven expansions (Recurring Nightmares, Suppressed Memories, Beyond the Threshold, Streets of Arkham, Sanctum of Twilight, Horrific Journeys, Path of the Serpent), you will need our MOM-001, MOM-002, MOM-003, MOM-004, and MOM-005 storage solutions to store everything. With these five inserts + core + seven (7) expansions, you will have room to store everything. In addition, you will have room to store additional small cards, investigator cards, dice, future tokens, many more map tiles, and fourteen (14) additional investigators (the MOM-001 top tray is used to store the jumbo map tiles).
- If you only own the base game (2ed), then you only need the MOM-001.
- If you own the base game and one expansion, you will need the MOM-001, MOM-002, and MOM-003 storage solutions, since the MOM-002 stores tiles and the MOM-003 stores investigators. If the one expansion that you own is Beyond the Threshold, you can get by with just a MOM-001 and MOM-002, but the two investigators from BtT will need to be stored in the MOM-001 top tray or elsewhere. If you do go ahead and get a MOM-003 as well, it would be empty except for the two investigators. Finally, if the one expansion you own is Streets of Arkham, Sanctum of Twilight, Horrific Journeys, or Path of the Serpent, you need the MOM-001 + MOM-004.

I purchased the Storage Bundle Solution. Before doing so, I reached out to Go7 asking which specific MoM storage solutions I needed (I found the long notes in the product description very confusing as to what I needed for my specific sets). Unfortunately they weren’t able to provide a clear answer. I simply said, “I have the following MoM products – should I buy the Solution Bundle or individual sets? If the latter, which individual sets should I buy?” They couldn’t give me a direct answer, so I opted for the Solution Bundle.
The product itself is great. Fun to build, directions were mostly good (except for a few instances where a piece wasn’t labeled or was not visible in the 3D diagram because it was on the back of a front-facing wall). The products feel solid and I love the look. They fit nicely in the boxes, except the expansion items that cause the lid to not close all the way (not a big deal).
The issue is that, other than the set for the base MoM 2E game, all the expansion products 1) Don’t contain storage for all the items in their individual set (i.e. Streets of Arkham has no storage for game tiles, Path of the Serpent has no storage for tokens), and 2) Contain extra storage for pieces from OTHER sets, which end up being wasted space in most cases. In other words, the expansion systems were designed without full storage for their own pieces, but offer extra space for different pieces you probably don’t need.
I have the base MoM 2E game plus Beyond the Threshold, Streets of Arkham, Horrific Journeys, and Path of the Serpent. The 002 and 003 storage solutions went completely unused because they didn’t provide anything useful to this specific combination of products. I was able to fit everything into the 001, 004, and 005 solutions, but I had to mix pieces between all three boxes, and I ended up with 4 small monster miniatures that had no home, and have to sit loose in one of the boxes. All in all, the design on this series of products feels really strange, and I don’t understand why they didn’t simply make the expansion solutions self-contained rather than overlapping in various degrees with all the previous storage solutions.
On a final note – I attempted to post reviews for each individual product in the larger set, but when I did so, GO7’s website flagged my reviews as spam and took them down because I apparently posted them too quickly. Very frustrating – I’ve never seen such a system that prevents users from posting their honest feedback.

Beautiful and well designed. Perfect for a game like this. Much stronger than many other storage solutions that I’ve seen. Take your time gluing and assembling the various parts. Quality time and work in = quality product result. Use a craft glue that has some tack to it. I’d also suggest some small brushes to apply the glue and Q-tips for clean up. Follow the diagrams and dry fit everything first. Most of the rails fit so tight that I did not use glue and they are never coming out. Overall a great product worth every $.

Keeps everything in a safe and easy to find place. Makes setting up and packing the game away a breeze.
Easily fits the main game and all expansions up to and including Horrific Journeys, with some space left over.
Note: Requires (wood) glue. No in-box placement instructions included, leaving it up to yourself to place your miniatures.

The item came packaged very well and assembled rather easily. The directions are a little wordy, but the diagrams are easy to follow. I wish each component had the assigned “letter” stamped on it, as I did mess up a few times when I was trying to rush it. The company was very responsive to all inquiries and even rushed me out a piece that I messed up real bad. I will definitely use go7gaming again.

I have 5 expansions to MoM and so far all of them are able to fit nicely into this bundle. Wood cuts are precise and snap together with ease. I did mess up one of the investigator boxes but that’s because I was in a haste and not paying attention. Take your time to look over everything and it will end up being a great product organizer for your MoM pieces.

I built this over a weekend. You need to set aside a considerable amount of time to get all four packages together, with gluing and setting times. Clamps are highly recommended for putting together some of the larger pieces while they’re setting. I also had to file some of the holes to get pieces to fit as some holes would be too tight of a fit. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the finished product. Much better than the foamcore disaster I was trying to build before I stumbled on this bundle. 10/10, will be coming here for the next MoM expansions and I’ll be checking out some of the other kits for other board games.

Overall I have to rate the bundled Mansions of Madness set as excellent! There are nits and notes, but as a whole it makes a very clever and quite solid storage solution. The MOM-002 and MOM-003 units, in particular, fit beautifully together with snug lids and are exact matches for the RN and SM boxes. I’m really looking forward to another installment to accompany the next MOM module, Horrific Journeys!
The main note is that they mean it when they suggest dry fitting the pieces to ensure the correct placement. More than once I realized a piece was rotated or flipped when poised to glue it even after dry fitting. The other note is that, although the fit is generally excellent, there were one or two cases of slightly warped HDF. Not a problem provided you check the fit before gluing so that you can lightly sand a tab as needed or know that you will need to complete the gluing of an entire unit before the subassembly dries incorrectly aligned. Did I mention that you probably want to dry fit?
The nits are minor. One is that piece J in MOM-001 should have rounded corners at the top as do the other pieces in that assembly. It shows that in the 3D assembly drawings, but the cutting file didn’t include that radius detail evidently. The others involve two troublesome monsters, the Star Vampires and the Cthonians. The former tuck into purpose built spaces in MOM-004, but the tabs intended to hold them are a little short, so they tend to roll out and flop over. A little padding solves that. Likewise the pesky Cthonians don’t really fit any medium space well. With a little more planning one might align them on the stand to make them work, but I naturally glued them long before getting the organizers and my chosen rotation has the monster rubbing something in most spaces. In the end one fits in MOM-004 with some padding for the tentacles it has to rest upon and the other sits between the back-to-back Star Spawn in the large mini bin in MOM-001. Here’s hoping for a couple of extra medium mini slots that are not abutted to walls in MOM-005!
Again, don’t dwell on the nits. You will love this approach to organizing MOM. If you want to be able to find a Wraith and the Ceremonial Room tile quickly to keep the game rolling, buy the bundle and get building. You might consider dry fitting the pieces before you glue though…
